What would you do if you could be invisible?
You’ve at some point in your life pondered what it would be like if you could be invisible. The idea of Invisibility was always strangely intriguing for me, I would lay in bed at night and dream of all the adventures I would go on if I could just disappear even if it was only for a day. I would be the best at playing hide and seek. We could spend hours, and no one would ever find me. I would play pranks on my friends and sneak into the dorm pantry for some snacks. I would ghost-slap or even pull the trousers off that kid who always annoyed me. There is something deeply appealing about the idea of being able to disappear from sight and experience the world in a completely different way, free to go wherever you want unseen, wouldn’t that be nice?
Maybe one day when science has progressed, we might get a chance to witness the making of an invisibility cloak or the helicarrier disappearing into the sky. If I woke up tomorrow and found out I had the chance to be invisible here’s what I think I would do.
Become James Bond, I’d be the No.1 spy, go in get the job done, and split, leaving no traces behind. Spy and gather information, without ever being detected or caught by cameras. Sneak into Area 51 and see what the fuss is all about, and maybe make some alien friends while I’m there.
I would travel the world, go on amazing journeys across the globe without ever needing a visa or tickets to transport, just hop on the one that has empty seats and explore the vast seas and the lands between. Get close and observe wildlife without ever disturbing them.
Gate crash parties and watch concerts of my favorite artists, get a glimpse of what it’s like on the set of Avengers and Avatar. Experience the melodies and history being created in the music studios across the globe, and maybe attend the Oscars and the Grammys when I’m there.
More importantly, you’ve all been there when you see someone across the room and hope they don’t see you and then they start walking towards you and you have no escape. I would just vanish and avoid most social interactions.
Knowing reality, the ability to be invisible would probably come with limitations, if I did have them I think some of these would probably be it. Make certain parts of my body or certain objects invisible.
Maybe become invisible for a certain amount of time or for only a few minutes each day. Maybe I could be invisible for the time I can hold my breath or stay completely still. Perhaps invisibility only in the dark (when no one can see me anyways) and each time I became invisible I’d get a pimple on my face.
Being invisible would probably mean just my body would be invisible, which would mean most likely following superman or spiderman I’d have to find an alleyway and get rid of my clothes instead of changing to a suit. That would be embarrassing if the invisibility had a distance within which you were invisible and anyone outside this range could see you. I would want to disappear, literally.
Makes you think, doesn’t it? But what about you, If you had the ability to become invisible, what would you do with it? How would it change the way you interact with the world and the people around you? Would you use it for good or succumb to the temptation? Have a think about it.

Have to stand on one leg to be invisible, hop around like a bunny
